Clemson University is home to some of the industry’s most impressive recreation and wellness facilities. The Fike Recreation Center, all 250,000 sq. ft. of it, is complete with cardio and strength areas, indoor tracks, racquetball and basketball courts, group fitness studios, a wellness zone, steam/sauna areas, a natatorium, and a climbing wall. The Andy Quattlebaum Outdoor Education Center, which houses the Clemson Outdoor Recreation and Education (CORE) program, is one of the newest additions to the Clemson recreation and wellness department. The building resembles that of a cabin with a pristine backdrop and is meant to connect students with each other and outdoor recreation. With this many facilities and a large staff to keep everything running, Connect2 has helped improve their facility operations and risk management by centralizing incident and accident reporting and keeping facility (& equipment) in top shape through C2IT module.
Associate Director of Member Services and Aquatics, Victoria Roberts, explains why moving to paperless operations has been important at Clemson. “Paperless operations with Connect2 has been important as we move forward in the digital world. Keeping things digital with Connect2 means no more binders full of accident reports on shelves and potentially sensitive information is safely stored online.”
Our friends at Clemson Campus Recreation serve a student body of over 20,000 Tigers and are open to faculty and staff as well. We are continuously impressed with the ways they serve their community and use Connect2 to enhance operational excellence!
